Welcome to Pilgrim  

Pilgrim Lutheran School is a Christian day school, serving girls & boys from preschool through eighth grade. The school was founded in 1980 and continues to function as a ministry of Pilgrim Lutheran Church, a member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.  Pilgrim is a private Christian school in Beaverton, Oregon which welcomes children of all faiths, races & national backgrounds.

Roundup and Preview Nights  

Preview Nights February 23rd and April 19th:  Preview Night is the perfect time to get all the information about Pilgrim Lutheran School for any age student, preschool through 8th grade!  The evening begins at 6:00 pm with a complimentary dinner for our prospective families.  After dinner we'll have a short program, tour of the school and time in the classrooms with our teaching staff for Q&A.  RSVP is required, 503-644-8697.

Oregon BOB State Champions!!!

Winners!Pilgrim Lutheran School is the home to the 2010 Oregon Battle of the Books state champions.   Over 200 elementary schools from around the state competed in regional competitions during the month of March. The top two schools from each region went on to compete at the state tournament at Chemeketa Community College on Saturday, April 10, 2010. Pilgrim Lutheran school won the State Championship for grades 3 – 5.

Oregon Battle of the Books

The Battle of the Books is a statewide program organized by the Oregon Association of School Libraries (OASL) that promotes reading and teamwork. Students formed teams of 4 to 5 members and then read 16 books on a state list. The students participate in battles in which two teams must answer comprehension questions about all 16 books. An estimated 2,800 students participated in the program across the state.  Each student on Pilgrim Lutheran’s winning team; Abby Groh, Austin Arnold, Daria Wonderlick, Hedeeyeh Saberian, and K’reisa Cox read over 3,516 pages and 641,962 words to prepare for the competition.
